The coil connector is just plugged in without a ring to secure it. Note the holes for the speaker.

Sideview of the detector. Lightweight and well balanced. The grip feels just right. The armrest can be moved up or down. The width is not adjustable.

The 8" coil does pretty well on the Platinum.

Dime: 10"

Tests were done in Disc mode at max. sensitivity. (Detector was stable)
